SteveD, an interesting site. I registered on it. If any other ABers are interested in the houses, or areas, in which you lived, especially if you are now a great distance away, you should take a look at it.

If it's the house you live in and own/are buying you don't need a website - just get hold of the deeds from the bank/building society/solicitor. They will tell you everything from who originally owned the land, who it passed to, how it came to be built on and every owner of the house since.
