shower unit change

i am changing a wall mounted shower unit but the new one is a differet shape leaving exposed plaster as the old one was tiled upto the shower box but the tiles are now unavailable to make up the differerce!
any suggestions

Assuming that tiles of the same size are still available use a contrasting colour to fill in the gaps. You may need to remove some existing tiles to get enough clear space to do this.
