Can someone tell me the official name of this type of bolt please, I'm sure it must have one.

Where have all the old fashioned hardware stores gone?...the nice man in a brown overall & a pencil behind his ear would know what I meant by 'twisty, bolty thingy' (even if it hadn't been invented).

Oh Swedie. That clip is so lovely. Thanks. Again the tears have welled. It also took me back to the 60's. What lovely looking young men they were and still are!! A great interview. Swedish subtitles look like a mix of Scottish 'Ochs' and rather nice swear words ;o)!!

Pity it was followed by the awful Mica and the even worse song 'Golden'!!!!

One of my biggest ambitions is to interact with a big cat like that. But methinks Alice will have to do!!

Thinking about the 60'/70's and how much slimmer young people seemed to be. My Dad bought me a fitted leather jacket and I loved it so much!! I could never bring myself round to letting it go - in perfect condition. At the weekend I donated it to my son's girlfriend who is a very slender size 8/10. She looked lovely and is as pleased as punch with her new retro jacket. I can't believe I ever got into it and I was 5'10" in those days. I have shrunk with age and also since I fractured my spine!!! :o(.

haha, have we all been glued to that talk show? brilliant Kip...I mean Kit, hehe...(blame the hippy)
I love the way they can flit in & out of a different language so smoothly...not only did I love the Christian part but the lady who'd had the stroke was so interesting (Jill Bolte Taylor) & I learnt something, unusual I know, haha. Such lengthy interviews are hardly ever seen here (nice host btw)...they get about 3 mins & are elbowed out for some trollopy girl band.
The one panic I did have with your clip was that at 38 minutes it was Mika (sp?)...he seems like a nice guy but the music...aaaaggghhh...I have to run & turn the radio off when his songs come on.

Yes Lottie, I've still got a few items that are soooo tiny but I do have a black 80s dress that I can get into (ducks) and pretty fashionable at the moment I think.

There was a time when I wore them all the time, for every occasion. They were just so comfortable - with long tops mind you!! Anyway, the 80's seem like only yesterday!! Time is flying.
