stella is a good general cherry comes on the colt rootstocks so should be easy to find a really dwarf one how about a wider selection of ballerina fruit trees you can squeeze in three into the space you would use for one normal one

The advice re dwarf trees is really excellent, however, if you do not pick the fruit in the late summer they will make a mess of your lawn underneath. The fruit falls, rots and draws fly larvae like you wouldn't believe. Sometimes the birds eat them and if they've started to ferment... well ... it's kinda fun to watch the drunken birds. Cheap entertainment!
