I've got a small wall 4ft high and roughly 6ftlong. My neighbours planted hydraengers on their side last year and they look nice but I was wondering what I can plant other than hydrangears. I like shades of violet, purples and pinks. Im no gardener as you can tell. tia.

(You don't have to fill in all the boxes; just use the ones which are important to you).
We'll need...

Soil type (clay, chalk, dry, wet, stony etc)
Aspect (north, south facing etc)
what would you like (scent, foliage colour, evergreen, flowers)
You could try try a ceanothus shrub, if the site is fairly sheltered, any well drained garden soil should do.
They are are very drought resistant and come in various shapes and sizes and a color range from white through to brilliant shades of blue.
