Help With Plant On My Avatar

Please could someone tell me what the plant is on my avatar?
It's growing in my garden now, is very fragrant and attracts bees
I'm hoping to get some more a pop them in planters for next summer - will it be suitable?

It's definitely a phlox. I have them in pink white and a sort of mauve. They also come in blue but they are very hard to get hold of. They come up every year and multiply so you can get cuttings from them.

Ok so how would I take cuttings - from the blooms?

Its a very small picture to get an ID from, but I do agree it does look like a flox, when you take into account of the leaf size and shape in relation to the flower arrangement.

Must get some stronger spec's :-)
