i had a large box of geraniums on display on my balcony till yesterday, still flowering but found they were literally covered in green ahpids "in December" ! ive got rid as i'm getting fresh ones next year, but aphids in December?

I was walking my dog this morning and saw clouds of midges, along the way!

chip chopper also on tuesday i saw a flock (around 100) swifts circling a couple of times round this area,weird
I feel certain we are living in a time of unprecedented events.
Its apparently been the warmest December night in England since records began (18/12 2015) and tonight it don't seem much different.
We're doomed, I tell ye. Doomed!

Daffodils in December? Doomed.
Azalea shooting in December? Doomed.
Primroses and Cowslips blooming in December? Doomed
My cherry tree is in half blossom - am I doomed too?
