I intend to grow a few spuds in a large bucket this year. Just the one question :- Can I use peat compost?????

If the issue here, is to use peat or not to use it, it may be possible to use 'Peat Reduced compost' for good results.
A compromise maybe ?
Peat on its own would have poor nutritional value.
Don't forget to provide good drainage in your bucket, by making some holes in the bottom and adding some crocks.
