That's enough ladies, break it up right there
http://i54.tinypic.com/30bz69l.jpg (pst Robi we'll get her when she's asleep in her goddam SOCKS) Oh they changed the Black Tulip design... (well they would have, since your childhood, Kit...) ...but that's the one. I can still smell it now, forty years on (told ya it's strong). I never was sure if it's for men or women but who cares when it's that fresh.
My sense of smell is actually impaired - too much Black Tulip no doubt;-) Here's the story that starts off with a cardigan: I bought one (and this one I did like) and washed it as I always do before I wear anything. Then I noticed the yarn had been tied together in one place and that knot kept popping out on front like an extra nipple ha ha no matter what I did, so I took it back. I hadn't worn it except prancing in front of the mirror and you really couldn't tell it had been washed. Or so I thought. The sales girl immediately detected a scent of laundry detergent =:0 ...how was I to know;-) I flatly denied it and she took it back.
...but anyhoo the point of this story is my sense of smell is really impaired. (Too many colds I think.) There's a new, Swedish perfume house called Byredo and I decided to have a sniff at their scents. I didn't notice anything in particular with any of them but when I came home and read the reviews for each, one review said to "imagine your grandmother with a penis, and your teeny niece with a handlebar moustache, and translate that into a scent". I would have cried if I hadn't laughed so much. I could fall into a heap of dog poop and never notice. (Luckily, I hadn't bought the perfume...! I do like my perfume to make a statement, but I'm not sure it's that one???)
