What have I done wrong? I planted my garlic (bought froma garden centre) in spring and have just gone to dig it up and there is only one clove on each one. I'm gutted!!
Advice please. Shall I just replant it as it is or shall i cut the yellow leaves off?

Garlic needs exposure to cold temperatures preferably a bit of frost for it to start.

You need to plant it in the autumn and let it over-winter, with this year's mild winter and spring planting I'd guess it didn't get it

I'd get a new set of cloves and start again

Thanks Jake. I'll certainly do that. We LOVE garlic in our house so it was a huge disappointment.
If it makes you feel any better the same happened to me. I'll be putting some in soon for sure.
You mean this Spring? As said earlier a cold snap helps
