Is it possible to paint copper pipes? TIA

Yes, but be sure to use heat resistant paint like on radiators.
No need to use heat resistant paint. You can use any oil-based paint on them.
Though a white painted oil-based paint on a hot water pipe tends to go cream rather quickly.
Copper oxidises readily, and the oxide surface forms a good base for paint. No need to use a primer.

Would emulsion be okay? Then it would blend in with the wall.
You can emulsion the pipes.
If you're emulsioning them use satin as it's more resistant.

I always use emulsion paint on pipes and radiators. Satin finish is the best; as suggested by coccinelle.

The pipes are in my kitchen which I have painted with Kitchen & Bathroom emulsion. Would this still be ok?
