my very naughty daughter called 'JOJO' has drawn on the arm of my pale blue sofa in black marker pen is there any way of getting it off??

Try dabbing with a cloth and either white spirit, or non-acetone nail polish remover. Finish off using a sponge with water containing some washing-up liquid. Repeat as necessary.
