My sister is trying to find out who owns the wall between herself & her neighbour. Unfortunately it dosn't say in her deeds. Thanks

Is there a drawing with the deeds? Usually, there is a little T on the drawing sticking out of the boundary which belongs to you.

Have a look at the neirghbour's deeds. Very easy and cheap to do if the property is registered at the Land Registry. The Title and Plan can be downloaded.

If there is nothing to conclude from his Plan, assume it is a party boundary UNLESS you know who built the wall.

If you are talking about the garden wall, the clue will be in the way it is built.

If the supporting piers are on your side then you own it.

What if there are no piers and the neighbour has built the garden up?

If it is a wooden fence then the supporting posts will face the owner.
