I may seem dim but when I am selling a house I pay the Estate Agent a fee.

Do I also pay the Estate Agent for arranging the purchase of my new property.

After all they would be getting money from me twice, and also from the person selling the property I am buying..

Does that make sence...

no, the people who you buy from pay the estate agent fees for the house you are buying. You only pay fees on the one you sell.
Droopdraws you should also remember that you will have to pay VAT on the agents fess.

no you only pay the estate agent the fee for selling your house which will include vat. also the fee will be higher if you decide to advertise your house with other estate agents also.
