hI-We have a bumper crop and the weight on the branches is so heavy that a branch has snapped off- can they still be ripened-ie like tomatoes or do I have to bin them- I HATE wasting food!!!!!!

I'm sure you could make a chutney or something. Couldn't you ?

Lots will ripen well if you spread them out on a newspaper on a sunny windowsill. Then you could stew them gently & when cold, freeze the pulp for pies & crumbles - delicious!
