just had some lino (cushion floor) fitted and already we've got a tiny puncture. Do you know the best way to stop this becoming a crater? I've got two toddlers who could stick their fingers in, a "teenage" 11 year old who doesn't watch what he's doing and it's right in the centre of the floor! So I need to sort this out asap!

Maybe a drop of super glue?

superglue may work but is quite brittle and will tend to crack out.  A gap filling epoxy may work better.  Is the puncture caused by uneveness below or a nail head sticking up.  If so the only solution is to make a hole with a sharp stanley knife remove the offending object and stick down with purpose made glue.  Good luck
