Well nothing apart from a Russian vine will grow that fast knowabit...and you don't want one of those! Gardening requires patience :)
Some honeysuckles will grow fairly quickly but they all need time to get their roots established and they will require some pruning or tidying up eventually. Why not plant a clematis and a honesuckle together...these are mine last year (clematis is Lasurstern and the honeysuckle I was told was serotina but I'm not sure it is)

As for winter colour in pots, there are things like pansies, cyclamen etc but in winters such as this last one they don't do very well. You could try some low growing variegated or gold leaf evergreens and keep them trimmed. Euonymous are pretty tough.
