Cutting The Grass

Right I cannot leave it any longer - I will have to strum the lawn this weekend
The grass and weeds are about 12 inch long so when I have strimmed them will I be able to use the garden vac to collect the cuttings

Also - I have a very uneven lawn can anyone recommend a mower that will be able to take over after the strimmer - or if anyone would like to come and do the job for me? - thought not

A hover mower would be better on an uneven lawn I think, Ric.ror.

If you live in Somerset just water the lawn with cider.
It'll come up half cut!

Grass cutting is one of my favourite pass times. I have all the 'toys'. If you were closer I would jup at the chance. Strim and leave for a few days, strim again, leave for another 2/3 days and cut with a rotary wheeled mower. Thereafter twice a week and it only takes minutes each time.

Uriah - when you say strim and leave - do you mean leave all the trimmings there too? or shall I vac them up

I use the garden vac for cuttings,just rake it into piles and suck away.If Frank fancies a trip down to Devon, come and bring your tools!!! Good job this is in Gardening or it would probably get pulled.
