Apart from Jeyes Fluid what other outdoor disinfectants are there?

I want to wash patios, paths, gravelled areas to get rid of any animal poop that may be hiding and attracting flies before a BBQ.

Animal friendly suggestions welcomed.

Soda crystals dissolved in hot water is recommended. Soda crystals are only £1 per bag so cheap too.

Doh! I always have bags of soda crystals in the house......why didn't I think of them???
