Electric Buzzing Noise

I have a hard wired doorbell and when I got home from work the box bit of it in the hall is buzzing/humming. The main fuse box is also buzzing loudly. all the trips are OK. Any ideas what's going on?

OMG I've just tried it and you're right. It was stuck in and once it 'chimed' all quiet. Must have been those bloody chuggers last night. ILY
