Does anyone know if the price that is quoted for a property in Spain is the price you pay or are there hidden extras?

There may be hidden charges, including agents' commissions fees. If you are considering buying a property abroad, do some research first - get a good local English-speaking solicitor, preferably someone who specialises in this type of transaction, and liase with your own solicitror here before you sign anything. There are plenty of people who aoperate legitimate businesses buying and selling property aborad, and plenty more who don't, so be careful!
