Hand Held Kitchen Vac
11 Answers
I've been thinking of getting a small, wall mounted vacuum for the kitchen work surfaces etc.
Its main use will be for clearing up, things like bread crumbs.
I can't decide on whether I should go for corded or cordless, so any ideas on this may be helpful.
TIA.

We have a Vax Gator cordless. We bought it a year or so ago to replace an Electrolux whose battery had gone. The Vax is superb for crumbs etc and things you wouldn't use a J cloth for such as broken glass. As Hopkirk says, if you're going to get one, get cordless otherwise it's more fiddly and you have to stow the cable somewhere. Our Vax lasts ages on a charge but be aware that they are only designed for picking up mess, so don't expect the performance of a big mains vacuum.
