<<snorts with derision at jno's idea of me living in a shoebox on the M1>>. I'll have you know that I had a two-storey 3 bedroom flat in Temple Fortune (oh yes!) in which one of the previous owner's had committed suicide, and much as I do not believe in ghosts there were certainly strange happenings going on with plates flying off of shelves which I put down to heavy traffic on the Finchley road but others had different ideas. It had previously belonged to a Jewish family and had those little scroll box-type things on all the doorframes which I found fascinating but did not dare remove!!
*Slpper av Robinia hr.* (No idea, folks I'm just humouring her.)
This is very exciting, I'm selling my old bedframe at an internet auction site and it's a design classic so it's getting bids even as we speak (auction ends in ten minutes)!
Henning Mankell says he's written his last Wallander book, Shaney This summer the Branagh team and the Swedish Wallander team are both making new films, so, as Mankell says, the two wallanders Branagh and Krister Henriksson may find themselves passing each other by on the street.
Baggy House reminded me of a spectacularly nice house where my eldest sis lives not in the house more's the pity but just a couple of minutes away from it. This one is built by the architect who lives in it now and it's called The Catamaran House you'll see why on picture 19 (there are four pages). wouldn't mind
Did you see in the news today they found a new Magritte! Tucked away in the attic of some pub in Devon! of all places! Seems Magritte did a lot of painting there that hasn't been known until now and it's amazing work. I've always liked Magritte and I have to say this newly discovered one is just awesome. They now believe that the famous one was in fact just a study for the real one!
(PS Background vinnypiccy courtesy of you Robi, I don't have that photo so I used one you posted quite a while back when you were into some image editing programme the name of which I've forgotten.)

This is my new phone and am getting hang of it, have another touch screen on order in England. I like the Blackberry very much Vinny but all those buttons confused me and I couldn't touch them properly with my age-fattened fingers!!
Stop picking on the swedes -for I feel as though I am as one with them cos they speak english, and in all truth (apart from evicting the whole tourload of us - proabably cos the others were Spanish and they didn't mean to upset us Brits!) they are by and large a lovely lot apart from the big Willie factory on the way from the airport. Yes I notice these things!
what's a blackberry?....think I'll stick with my Biddyberry...oh, tut, I can't keep up, stop the world...
have you seen neti's new hands-free?
hi lottie...Charlie's hopefully being clipped tomorrow so I might swing my legs up on the table - erm, one at a time - & she can give 'em a once over ... I'll have to take my purse shoes off first tho' I suppose.
Neti you're not too posh to eat salad cream then? And we're not picking on the Swedes....just the one Swede. I'm sure she's responsible for all things hoo-de-harr....
:o)
<oh no, I bet that's a real word...>

I have been slaathering my legs in Sublime bronze, Delial Auto bronceanti, and two other makes and I'm still as white as a ghost, so give up totally, and where my hair goes to the side on my forehead, I now have freckles in that one patch where the fringe doesn't go, I know it's skin damage, but what the hell!!
