A flat I own has a small shower room with toilet, bidet and basin. I wish to replace a carpet somebody had installed with a laminate floor. I've watched instructions on youtube as there is a lot of awkward cutting to do.The installer was using a type of thin cardboard to create templates around the suite. Can anybody help me to locate this cardboard,it looks like it came on a roll.
I'd be tempted to simply cut it as I lay it were I you. It's frustrating to believe you've checked and are certain that your templates are correct, and you have precut it first, only to find the cut out is half inch and 7° out. Do it as you go and you can see where it needs shaping.
It might even pay you to remove the basin/pedestal & toilet, and laminate under where both will sit, then replacing them; thus avoiding fancy cut-outs.
Thanks OG, if you had seen my attempt at laying vinyl in a bathroom many years ago you would understand why I want to use templates. If you have a peek on youtube you will see how it works. Still looking for cardboard.
