Hi, I bought 2 very small plants from the Church plant sale, and grew them on, on the porch windowsill. They now each have about a dozen very small fruits, about an inch long and shaped like a tiny bell pepper. They are green, starting to turn dark red. I cut one open and touched the tip of my tongue to it, and it is hotter than Hades! Does anyone know what kind they are, and how to use them? Thanks.

Many thanks Mamyalynne, for your identification of my mystery chillies! Scotch Bonnet they certainly are, and it seems I can expect them all to turn red eventually. Regards from Greenrook
They sound like a chilli I bought in all innocence as a student, to spice up a mince and veg dish I was making up. First serving nearly blew my head off so I got a second lot of all the other ingredients to half the heat, and it made no difference. I then had twice as much to get through and it lasted almost a fortnight of hot hot hot evening meals.
