After THREE years my Lupins have flowered so what do I do now….allow to set seed and save it or deadhead in the hope the plants will come back next year?
I think they are a common variety from a market stall.
Thanks.
I always deadhead my lupins and usually get a second lot of flowers albeit smaller than the originals. I then allow the plant to die back naturally and cut back completely in late autumn. My lupins have been in the same spot for many years and never let me down.
