Just When You Have Thought Of Everything,Something Else Pop's Up!
Being recently breaved, I imagined that I had dealt (with my deceased partners brothers help) all the paperwork.
Then it occured to me that the BT/Broadband bill was paid by direct debit!
I didn't want the phone(my lifeline lately) to be cut off.
I called BT customer service, and was mightily impressed.
They have a Brereavement helpling.
The guy steered me through it all, and was incredibly helpful and understanding.
He canceled the old direct debit, and put a new one in place on my bank account.
All done and dusted in about 10 minutes!
I didn't even have to change my landline number, and although I could not find the BT account number,he still managed to fix it.
As you will appreciate, living in an isolated spot, the landline is a big thing. The people that are supporting me would not be able to get me,but thanks to BT they now will.
100% Thanks to BT Customer service.

Thank You,Barsel,
It's bit of a big dipper, one day up,one day down.
I still don't think that I realise that Billy has gone,I am frightened when I am alone, that it will( and sometimes does) hit home hard to me.I cannot bring him back,so have to tolerate it?
Thank You andres,
I tried to get a free TV licence, but as I said before, they require you to "download" a few documents online to get it,and I don't know how to do that.
Sorry, but I have taken the easy way out,and am paying £13.25 a month, until I find out how to download easily?.
They certainly don't make it easy!
