I have some antique furniture and china that I want to sell. What are the methods of doing this? Bear in mind, the stuff needs valuing as I have no idea of its worth and I don't want to sell it over the internet. Thanks.

Probably the best way is to try and locate some auction houses within range of your home (Look under Auction, and Antiques in your yellow pages) and see if one of they staff will come out to your house and value it. Auction houses often run regular auctions of furniture and china/porcelain and can suggest a minimum "reserve" price, under which it would not be sold. I don't know whereabouts in the country you live but you could possibly try Googling Sutherbys, Christies, Tring Auctions, to track down some auction houses.
