Kitchen Tap

Hi, I have just fitted a new sink and tap in the kitchen,it`s one of those taps with a mixer lever if that makes any difference, but the tap continues to trickle water for about 5 seconds after it`s turned off and it`s driving me mad.

Well ....the tap`s not driving me mad,but the missus is..any ideas...thanks in advance

Providing it's not dripping continuously after it's turned off, why worry. I get this in the bathroom - it's just residual water in the tap.
