Flushing toilets
Recently moved home and found one of the toilets difficult to flush. Having suffered the same problem before I assumed the diaphragm was at fault and set off to the local DIY to by one, if not available a new syphon.
I came across a "Fluidmaster" system which replaces to old ball valve, float and even overflow pipe.
It seems too good to be true. Has anyone replaced the conventional innards of a toilet system with one of these and are they as good as they claim?
Will appreciate any advice that can be given.

They are pretty good and reliable but they do not like high pressure though, so if you do fit one to you're loo make sure you fit the correct flow restrictor usualy supplied with the unit. Alot of people just throw them away and then have all sorts of trouble with a permanent flushing toilet.
