Because we work such long hours hubby and I love nothing better than to slob out in front od the TV when we can. T o this end we have always had CRTsets that gave the best quality picture and reception to be had. Now with the advent of regular HD broadcasting as far away as 2012, it has become apparent that even the most expensive LCD tv on the planet would have a job to top the picture quailty of our current five year old 37" CRTset!
Are we really to be condemned to the next five years of truly abismal picture quailty on LCD ?
Is there a decent large screen CRT set still being manufactured that doesn't look as if it's supermarket own brand or from cheapo.com?

But if you are getting such a good picture from your current tv, why change?
