This morning I put a load in, and as it was coming up to final spin i was making a coffee, and almost scared to death when it started vibrating heavily and became extremely noisy, so i turned it off at the plug, switched it back on again and it carried on from where it left on without any excessive vibration or noise. Does anyone know a reason why it was doing this.

p.s And yes, can you actually believe it, a lad doing the laundry, but as modern man as i am i'm not so good at ironing.

The same thing happened to us 3months ago and sad to say it was the drum itself.something to with the stabiliser We let it go for a a few washes but realised it had had it [ours was Aquarius too]. It was old and well used!
If yours is a one off it may just be that the load was unevenly balanced

We could have had it repaired but it was very costly and so bought another one for 299 an Indesitand you don`t even know it`s really there!
Hello Adam
Sometimes if you put things in the wash the cloths would be to one side of the drum always happens to me when I have towels in there. When it comes to the spin the drum will spin out of balence.
So you were not around when hand washing was the norm and the mangel that rings out the wet items.
