Do you think a battery operated hedge trimmer is more manoeverable for a small hedge, and do you recharge on the ordinary house electricity supply? All advice gratefully received. Regards Marymint.

look try using scissors first followed by a razor. I personally like a nice big hairy bush but a hedge trimmer? thats pushing it out of proportion
Please ignore this user. They have joined AB just to post abuse for some reason.

mind you I do also like a clean shaven beaver too
yes it's more manoeverable and yes it recharges on the mains but you won't need a very large hedge before you're struggling with it. They are very low on stamina compared to a mains one, fine for a very small area but you'd get fed up on a large hedge. As a really rough guide (and it's mine rather than an official one) if you can cut your hedge in less than half an hour then go for it, if not I'd stick with mains power.
Yes, I agree with the above posts. If you can get one with the mains power then buy that one. You have to be sure not to cut through the mains cable though. I sometimes wear it round my shoulders.
squarebear I think your accusations are stupid. You are abusing users who have done nothing
Nonsense that was your alter ego who got deleted as well you know.

The ED removed the post but didn't remove mine.
