mark on marble

hi ,we have a marble fireplace and my daughter has put a glass on it and it has left a large circle which i cannot get off,any ideas please??

try a mixture of baking soda, lemon juice & water. mix to a paste & apply with a cloth (nothing abrasive!). rinse with clean water & buff to dry
