'Shaker Style' kitchen

A property description says that the house has a 'Shaker Style' kitchen.

What does this mean?

Google 'Shaker-style'; it is essentially plain and undecorated.
It's just the style of the front of the cupboards, have a look on the B&Q website they should have some pics.
Yes it's the style of the unit doors, usually made to look like vertical planks
Vertical planks?! That's not right.

This classic design uses a frame like a picture frame, with no bevelled edges or fancy moundings.Under-stated. Usually the knobs are high and in the corners, not halfway down door like normal cabinet work.
Very nice, plain, no rounded patterns, at least you won't need a new kitchen.

I have a Shaker style kitchen and the side panels have the vertical plank look.
