Mattress Sizes

What is the standard depth of a mattress? 7inch? 10inch? And more importantly, what size depth is a standard fitted sheet? TIA

Different manufacturers produce different depths of mattresses, but 8'' is pretty common - same for fitted sheets, tho' M&S do theirs in a 10'' depth. This is normally classed as being 'extra deep'

High quality mattresses are around 10".
High quality sheets .. like Dorma .. etc fit 10".
I use Dorma.
