This Is So Frustrating!

My computer is scanning and will be doing so for the next few hours.

Consequently, I have to click on latest threads at least three times before it works and my answers keep getting error messages!

Shall l I just give up and wait until it's finished scanning?

I suspect that would be a setting telling the AV to check a file just when you are about to use (i.e. access) it.
