they nearly got me then! Just had an email from 'Pay Pal' with the logo, and of course we're all pretty much clued up on here about scam pay pal emails. But this was addressed to me by my full name and so i was about to open it when i read the message, and it said i had recently paid for something using a guest account and i already had an account and it was inviting me to sign in to re-activate my account. It looked legit like i said, but then something made me look at the payment confirmation email from my purcahse last night, and i realised that my pay pal account is linked to my ebay account and my account uses my double barrelled name as on the elecoral roll, (maiden name and married name). So the email, though addressed to me by name, was a phishing scam. Just a heads up, as they must be able to get names now.
They are crafty s*ds aren't they Dottie, I have a seperate e-mail address that I just use for e-bay and pay pal, when these messages turn up from pay pal on my regular e-mail address ( a few a week ) I just delete them straight away. I know they are spam because they haven't got that address.
