Sorting through all my pension files I found a cheque for £156 that I hadn't cashed dated 2003. I have no idea where it has come from, no that is wrong, I know the name of the pension. Mop any, I have no idea why I hadn't cashed it. What should I do with it ?

I don't know what mop any means!
'Company' typed too fast and you missed the 'c' completely?

;-)

Aren't cheques only valid for 6 months, or something?

I don't know Hypognosis, that is why I asked. Do you think I should phone the pension company ?
You could ask in the bank, see what they say first. They might accept it.

Yes I will have a go on Monday.
I had some 'out of date' cheques and the bank lady told me that a bank could accept them at their discretion so you might be lucky.
None of them was 10 years out of date though....
Phone them up first thing Monday morning Caran, you will be ok as I had similar for a tax refund over 4 years ago and it was sent to me in 4 weeks.
