Can't Access Aol

My aol address sent out about 50 spam emails last night. I can't access aol to change my password, at all.This is happening on my laptop and my Ipad.

Is there anything wrong with aol and what do I do to put this right.

When you say can't access what stage are you getting to? is it saying wrong password? if so it may be that you have been hacked and have changed your password.

I've tried to change my password on my iPad and my laptop but I just get an error message.

Just tried again on the laptop and I have got,

"Error 103A

Authentication Stalled. We're sorry but due to a problem on our end your sign-in got stuck."

What on earth????????!!!!!!!!

Cant help you chrissa sorry,
but you brought back memory's of the first time I had a computer and used AOL, when you sat there for ages waiting for that line at the bottom to get to the end.

are you using aol software or through another browser i.e. explorer or firefox

I was told AOL has gone out of business!

aol was taken over by talk talk some months ago. even though i swapped to T/T (because of the price) everything is the same here i.e email address home screen and the router supplied by aol some years ago, even though i've had a new router fromTT, ps ive just signed off and logged on again with no problems.

Just to clarify, have you tried going to http://mail.aol.com in your browser, then try to log into your mail box and does it respond saying that you need to reset your password and then fails with the 103A message?

aol UK helpline phone number is 0808 234 9279. At least, that's what is says on their website.

Thanks everyone. I rang the number SeaJ and they told me that my account had been hacked so they suspended it.
I spoke to a very helpful young man and he sorted it out for me, and enabled me to change my password, finally.

Oh excellent. That's good news. Good news also that they'd obviously spotted it before you and stopped any more unauthorised activity.
