Growing Weed

I am probably more nervous or or whatever - when I pass my nephew's house - 3 storey - top window closed some times most times - but tonite house was in darkeness. however a gust of wind blewopen a slat and brightlight shone fromit.... We are worried sick that because of that's happened - is he growing weed. There is a 3 year boy. there




it it is going on very top of the house - some times windows open and tthen tonight a a little ajar with bright light - then closed quicik= anybody help me with these newphews.

other neighbours have noticed these windows being open at the very top of house - no mum, no dad, just the little one.. I cant sleeep -

If he is, then if I were you I'd tell him to be more strict and careful about his windows.
He needs to keep his crop out of sight. He's a fool if he's growing stuff under lights on a top floor, coppers can spot that a mile off with infra red in helicopters.
Tell him he needs to move it to a lower floor.
Are you worried about weed or him being busted?

In my world it's completely normal to open windows and have a light on.

Do you think he has left the child alone in the house?
We normally have just an upstairs window open, it gives some ventilation.

I'd call the proper authorities and let them investigate your suspicions.
That should ease your troubled mind and aid sleep.

Douglas...if you were suspicious of your nephew would you go to the police? Or would you ask them outright?

Personally I wouldn't care unless it was growing to supply. But to grass on your own nephew could cause all sorts of family issues.

I wouldn't call anyone. These are just assumptions with no facts...yet. Calling "authorities" and letting them *investigate" may cause needless trouble.
jj,can you not speak to your nephews...voice any concerns you may have?

The only 'evidence' seems to be that the nephew has an upstairs light on and sometimes opens a window ! Hardly worth reporting or even commenting on.
JJ is there anything more to suggest he is growing weed?

Douglas...it has nothing to do with a "flexible view" as you call it, but about having evidence. An upstairs light does not equate to evidence in my book.

Indeed. Perhaps the nephew has poor eyesight and was using a high wattage bulb to help with reading some very small print.
Let's wait for jennyjoan to return with further information before calling in a SWAT team or helicopter borne drug enforcement teams.

If they are - I imagine you are posting on how to stop it - then ring crimestoppers or your local weed-a-grow line. skunk oil penetrates masonry on general principles so the whole house will reek from the outside as the crop matures. Unmistakeable pong. As they pass, even little old ladies will say - I bet they are growing banga in there ! - bright lights will glow in infra-red police meters so using the upper floors is a bit last-year and come-and-get-me as the roof glows
even if they are using bubble wrap - oops I am giving away my superior knowledge in cannabis production in this ! -

and if they arent - then you can tell them they are leaving windows open and your three year old gt nephew may crawl out of one

My experience of asking the freehoolder- are you using your house as a cannabis grow ? The police will come and get you as we alal know about it...is pretty abysmal. The owners tell you to mind your own business and it gets raided a few weeks later ....

In our case they were so slow in reacting that we concluded they were videoing the place and seeing what went in and what came out
