Over the last few days every time I want to go to Answerbank, Facebook, Outlook etc they keep asking me to log-in, email, password etc, even though I've ticked the 'Remember My Password' box.
I've never had this problem before, its just happened in the last few days since I installed then uninstalled Google Chrome.
Any advice on how I can get my passwords remembered again, thanks very much.

I find Firefox is one of the best browsers for saving passwords and managing cookies etc.
Do you refuse to be monitored via cookies when asked ? That causes issues here, but not on other sites.
maybe your cookie settings
have you set them to clear every time you close the browser ?

How do I do that Johnny?
Chrome saves your passwords. If you have uninstalled Chrome then your passwords have been lost. Check in your new version of Chrome if the 'let Chrome save passwords' is checked:

AuntPolly ...
I have uninstalled Chrome.
what are you using then?
//its just happened in the last few days since I installed then uninstalled Google Chrome. //

Then what are you using then? You can't get your passwords back as they were saved by Chrome, not on your hard drive, and you have deleted Chrome.

You've probably realised that I'm not too good at this sort of thing. I used to have Firefox but was told by a nephew to install Chrome, which I did, I just didn't like the change so uninstalled Chrome, how can I get back to where I was, I will need someone to talk me through it step by step if possible, sorry to be such a pain, I'm just not tech savvy, thank-you.
if you were happy with Firefox i'd stick with that
Do you still have Firefox installed on your machine?

I've just re-installed Firefox and will restart my laptop and see what happens.
no need to keep uninstalling browsers, having several can be useful
Agreed I've got three as some sites work more efficiently on certain browsers
Saintpeter, if you uninstalled Firefox, Installed/uninstalled Chrome and now say you are going to reinstall Firefox ....what have you been using to post on AB?
