Are Things Today More Fair?

Let's think 5o a long time ago when you have a person in Castle and than the rest of them fight among themselves in a free market. We are lead to beleive that things are more faired we Re no longer 'surfs'. Well is this actually true? The castles are now large gated fenced off big houses surrounded by monitored land. Westmill dont get a say in anything. Sure we can vote but let's not just forget that vote will only be between 2 parties they may or may not agree with. Any other vote would be a waste.

But my main question is... forget about technology etc with hospitals ( I'm sure they had a version back then) ... has anything got any fairer? Or

yes, neither me nor my sisters nor my husband would have had any chance of doing what we did then....and you can say forget about hospitals but before the NHS, no money meant no doctor. Gay people can marry, women aren't the chattels of men, children don't have to work from age six or younger....I know its not global fairness but better than it was.

After my degree I was coding, found out what crypto was,realised how messed up the world was and became an entrepreneur. I positioned myself on the fact that there will be massive social unrest soon due to liberties getting stripped away every day. Covid just put afast forward on the reset. Im notaconspiracy theorist I check things out from many angles before ibeleive them and I still look for people to disprove me. K owledge is only what someone tells you at the end of the day its why I like coding so much. It's to the point d100% accurate

Nope the "elite" DO control the shots even centuries later. We are the gullible populace who think we have a say, we think our vote / opinions matter....but I suspect they done

Social progression is, (as u yourself said) the reason why we have access to healthcare, minimum working age, gender equality etc...but that has only occurred because the elite's have "allowed" it to happen.

were you born into the elite ukananonymous, if not then you managed to get though university and get a job which seems to make you pretty well off, so you made good use of oppertunities that are there

Hey Bob...I went to private boarding school but my parents were not rich. After a divorce I was expelled from school at 17. Then bummed around in some really bad situations. I remember smoking heroin and frying 3 days old potatoe skin out of the bin. Anyway I finally got a job I loved, secured a place at university. Maxed out all my loans etc.. the o ly saving grace I had was staying at my mums during my 3rd year. My mum was a nurse with terrible finance k owledge and my dad was a car mechanic. The did some good business together but it was short lived. I would rather call myself working class. Some of the peoplei went to schoolwith are the 'elite' and its part of the reason why I dont trust politicians. If you ever lived inclosequarters to them and gotta know them then you would surely agree. So areyou theelitebednobs oris it only a 1 way street for you?

It's considerably better. But the elites still hold the wealth and the power. Difficult to manage that any other way. But the majority still like to do the modern day equivalent of forelock tugging and going along with what they're told, so must be happy.
