When my fibia dislocates, it is often several days before I can straighten my leg again. However, if I catch it early, take some Co-Codamol, and go back to sleep, I can quite often straighten it! What is it in the codeine that allows this to happen? I thought that codeine just made me dopey.
Are you saying that you suffer from recurrent dislocation of the fibula ?
Co-Codamol is an analgesic ( painkiller) also an anti inflammatory drug which relieves not only the pain but also the inflammatory response in the surrounding tissues which makes the movement around that joint, painful and stiff.
Sorry that should say fibula – I am dictating! Yes, Sqad, it clicks if I twist or bend or do anything, and then I can’t straighten my leg. Figure it’s EDS as I get this with ankles/wrists/ back etc
