I thought I'd make a new thread so this man been on about in previous thread so I know from the dog's home had a strop other day as manager said he had to wear thier hi vi's vest with dogs home branded on when walking dogs. The manager didn't like my yellow jacket that he use to wear for work, and told him he had to wear one of theirs. So he told her that it was the lowest form of management "do as I say, not do as I do", as her and her staff never wear one, and that they should be setting an example to us walkers. She said I haven't got enough time to talk to you about this now, I said, "well you chose now to start it", and carried on, so it went from there. The staff wear thier uniform branded with dogs home. He hasn't been back since and not heard from him much either only when ge gave me a bag of treats to give to the dogs.

Well, if it's mandatory, he'll have to wear it - or he won't get to be a volunteer. It'd be a good thing for you if he didn't come back, as you seemed to have got in an awful muddle with him - finding him creepy months ago, going out for dinner with him last week and so on.I think you should move on from this old guy now. I'm sure you'd rather concentrate on finding and...

Good

Abbey, if you want to have nothing to do with the man, have nothing to do with the man! There's no point in making 'jokes' with him, keeping up conversations with him. Do you like the attention he gives you, do you want that to continue until (or maybe just 'if') you get a real boyfriend?

Question Author

No as I gotta tell him I can't see him anymore if I got into a relationship and like my mum told me be careful he might think I'm keen

You were not seeing him!

Jeez he is a colleague at dog kennel! you really think that it matters to a boyfriend that does not exist is going to be bothered by a colleague - you really do think highly of yourself

Just ignore his calls/texts, for goodness sake, he'll soon get the message!

Have you been off sick this week?

Abbey.  For the last time.  You don't have to wait until you get a boyfriend before you cut this older man out of your life.  You are not being fair to him, in fact it is a bit cruel to be using him until someone else comes along.  You won't be dropping your real friends when you get a boyfriend, so you obviously do not view this man as 'just a friend'.

Stop it now.  Be kind.

Abbey, so if you don't get into a relationship,  you still want to have this old guy as ... what, a pal? Do you want him to keep buying you lunches, invite you out with his mates and so on? If he's just to be a chum that you work with, volunteer with, why would you have to drop him altogether if you have one successful date?

15.36  I am looking for a reply, please, Abbey!

You seem sure you will have a relationship after Xmas - why not before?

It seems to me Abbey is using this older man

No *** Sherlock 😂😂😂 I'm beginning to feel slightly sorry for him

Question Author

I said no to lunch earlier so I'm not using him and I wouldn't but I've been friends with them for years. It just if I block his number and he sees me at dogs home won't it be awkward

Question Author

Moorea Not my fault he never had one of his own

Question Author

And this guy is staying at family tor Xmas

Who have you been friends with for years?  Your girl pals or this man?

It's not your fault he didn't have one of his own - what?  Girlfriend, wife, daughter, friend?

I'm sorry, looking at the question and the amount of replies this made me laugh.

Anne it is comical isn't it. Abbey must be keeping AB going almost single handedly

1646 you are actually quite mean towards this man!

Question Author

Barry yes my girly pals and no its my fault he hasn't got a wife or family

I know it's not relevant to Kennelman but would like to know, once again, have you been to GP re your arm and when do you expect to be back to work?
