We were ridiculed by those who thought a Labour Government would bring about some sort of Utopia. I notice that they are not on these pages defending what Starmer and Co. have achieved so far, and how their actions are gradually destroying this country.

This is not about winning or losing. Just weeks into this government's tenure previous predictions are clearly proving to be accurate and warnings justified. What they are doing should set alarm bells ringing regardless of political persuasion because Labour voters are no more immune from the disaster they will wreak than anyone else. It's frightening.

They are at least sensible lefties, I dont often agree with them but I do have some respect, they at least debate and back up their assertions unlike the obvious two. I think they have seen what has happened and is going to happen and are a little embarassed about it, hence the recent bashfulness.
Who would want the Tory party torn to shreds?
Democracy works best when there are strong parties in parliament.
Some may say they're both wings of the same aeroplane, but that's something for another time.
The Tories now need to lick their wounds and start rebuilding so that they can offer a strong alternative in 10 years or so.
