I have 1 VHS video I would like transfering to DVD. I am aware of what I need to do be able to do this but for only 1 video it seems a bit of an expense. Are there any high street stores that offer VHS to DVD copying services.

Remember, however, that these firms will only transfer 'home-videos'. They will refuse to transfer pre-recorded movies (or programmes recorded from TV) because this would be illegal.

High Street prices are often around �25. On-line firms generally charge about �20. SpiderWeb Systems charge �9 for a 1-hour tape, �17 for a 2-hour one:
