I have a Fuji A201 and sometimes with flash photographs I get 'snowflake-type' spots of various sizes on the images. Does anybody know whay causes these and what can be done to prevent them. I have already ensured that my lens is spotless ! Thanks.
Do they always occur in the same place and with all light levels? If yes, then there may be a problem with the CCD. Have you tried taking it to a camera shop for them to have a look?
This effect can be caused by flash on dust particles Otherwise it could be 'hotspots' which is a digicam weakness. (They are probably not 'orbs' or 'rods' [Google])
