i'm under 18 and currently in full time education, ive recently chipped my tooth and was wondering whether caps are included in my entitled free treatment. any help would be much appreciated.

Usually yes, especially if it is towards the front of the mouth so clearly visible, or deemed essential for your dental health, and not purely cosmetic.

I would say, yes.

See your dentist in any event - the check up and advice will certainly be free.

Unless it's changed in recent years, no. I used to get free treatment when I was preggers (youngest is 22 now, though) and my dentist did several crowns for me, including a gold one - and none of them cost me a penny.
