im due to go t o court as a witness but i am being intimidated and really dont want to go is there any way out no one ever clearly explained to me that i would HAVE to go to court

It should have been made clear that you may have to go to court if you give a statement. You should have also signed a form stating any dates (If any) you would not be free to attend court.

Intimidation of a witness is a serious offence and, as the earlier replies said, should be reported immediately to the police or the CPS.
